I graduated from Georgia Southern University, in May 2012, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Since then, I have also received my ESOL and Gifted endorsements. I landed a job at Harmony as the Technology Specials teacher in October 2012. In August 2014, I moved to fourth grade and got my very own homeroom! I absolutely love teaching and would never dream of doing anything else.
Hello! My name is Christa Livingston. I graduated from The University of North Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood education with my reading and ESOL endorsements. I recently earned my gifted endorsement as well. Since I was in third grade I knew I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. My dream came true when I began teaching fourth grade at Harmony in 2015 and absolutely love it.
I recently married the love of my life, Scott, in April. We have two fur babies, Max and Jessie, who keep us very busy. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, friends, and pups. I enjoy watching football, snorkeling, drinking coffee and decorating.
I have taught fourth grade at Harmony for ten years. Harmony is an amazing school with amazing staff, students, and parents. It truly feels like a family!
I was born and raised in Florida, but consider Georgia my home as I have been a resident for 23 years. I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida. I then moved to Georgia and began teaching in Gwinnett County. I also received my Masters of Education from Piedmont College. I taught third grade for 6 years and then decided to stay home with my two girls. After 6 years away from teaching, I decided to return. That is when I began my life here at Harmony Elementary School.
I live in Gwinnett County with my husband, two daughters, and our dog. In my spare time, I enjoying running, baking, and reading.
